Currently Accepting Applications for:

Senior Scientist, Biomarker Discovery, Diagnostic Assay Development

Eutropics is currently developing CLIA laboratory developed tests (LDTs) that provide novel readouts proven to correlate to cancer patient response to treatment. The most advanced of these tests is a companion diagnostic (CDx) to identify patients for a new treatment regime in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Other diagnostic tests are being developed for commercial use in additional blood cancers as well as in solid tumors. Our platform is a novel approach to antibody biomarker discovery and development that can be applied to flow cytometry, immuno-fluorescence, and multiplexed quantitative immunohistochemistry (IHC) assay formats. The biomarker assay measurements are benchmarked against cell, xenograft, and patient response. Our biomarkers are used in ex vivo functional assays to provide CDx and complimentary diagnostic tests for guiding cancer treatments.

Job Summary

  • Lead development of next generation of functional and antibody-based diagnostic assay methodologies and provide input in clinical feasibility assessments from scientific & technical perspective.
  • Optimize immunophenotyping and biomarker readouts in flow cytometry in established preclinical and clinical models to correlate to drug response.
  • Serve the role of CLIA Technical Supervisor/Lab Director for processing of patient samples using established SOPs and LDTs.
  • Lead discovery and validation effort of new flow cytometry-based LDTs and CDx assays.
  • Contribute to relevant biomarker/CDx performance metrics and content in accordance with SOPs, CLIA/CAP, GLP, and/or other regulatory guidance as appropriate.
  • Prepare regulatory submission documents and maintain internal regulatory documents and SOPs.
  • Provide oversight of Ab biomarker discovery, using mAb, phage, and yeast display approaches.
  • Support development of next generation tests by guiding colleagues currently engaged in assay development, including collaborating with outside academic and commercial labs.
